Kassy and her husband, Sam, are both from Mobile where they have actively served together in various ministries throughout their thirty-two years of marriage. They have four wonderful children, a super son-in-law and one adorable grandson. Kassy received her degree in Music Education from the University of Mobile. She has been very active in the music community of Mobile serving as Director of the Gulf Coast Arts Academy, President of Mobile Music Teachers Association, Director of the MMTA Annual Sonata Contest, Assistant Director of the University of Mobile’s Summer Music Camps, performing with the Mobile Piano Ensemble, serving as accompanist in several local churches, leading children’s choirs and operating a private piano studio for almost thirty years.

Cindy Smith started serving as the Financial Administrative Assistant at Woodridge in February of 1995.  In 2000 she became the Pastor’s Secretary and Financial Assistant.  She and her husband, Don, joined the Woodridge family in August of 1994.  Cindy has also served in Children’s LifeGroups and Extended Care at Woodridge.  Cindy and Don have been married for 44 years and have three children. Their son, Brian and his wife Marty Smith, have two children Cole and Hadley.  Their daughter Lindsay and her husband Matt Spence have three children Brittany, KJ (Kenneth) and Jackson.  And their daughter Haleigh and her husband Brent Vance have three children Tytus, Felicity and Genevieve. Cindy’s favorite scriptures are James 1:2-8 and Philippians 4:19.

Gail began volunteering in October 1997 and came on staff in June 1998. Originally from Guntersville, Alabama, she graduated from the University of Alabama and has since lived in Huntsville, Birmingham, Atlanta, and Johannesburg, South Africa before settling in Mobile. Gail was saved at the age of 9 and was widowed in 2018. Because of a love for travel, she has visited 58 countries and all 50 states. Gail’s Life verse: Luke 1:37.

Holly was born and raised in Metairie, LA. She earned her B.A. in History from the University of South Alabama. Holly has worked at Woodridge since August 2016. She has been married to Ben since 2007, and they have 3 daughters. She enjoys crafts, sewing and reading. Holly's favorite scripture is Matthew 5:13.

Emma and her husband, Jimmy, have been members of Woodridge since 2022. Emma joined the Woodridge team in 2023.

Hannah has served on staff at Woodridge since December 2020. She is married to Dalton and loves working with all ages of children here at Woodridge. Hannah works with the Children’s Ministry to recruit volunteers to work with Babies through PreK on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Travis was born and raised in Mobile. He attended Tanner Williams Elementary School, Baker High School and is a graduate of Solid Rock Christian Academy.

Travis and his wife, Catherine, have been members of Woodridge for 12 years and he has been part of our Maintenance Team for three years. Travis and Catherine have a total of seven children: Alexis, Riley, William, Jonathan, Alyssa, Lydia and Matthew. They also have two grandchildren, Shekinah and Shepherd. Travis has been on a mission trip to Brazil and counts it a privilege to serve at WBC.

David has been a part of the Maintenance Team at Woodridge since October of 2016. He and his wife, Judy, are both Mobile, Alabama natives and have been married for 48 years. They have 2 children, Brandi and Christopher and 7 grandchildren. David and Judy have been members of Woodridge since May of 2002. David is a graduate of Theodore High School (Class of ’67) and Southwest State Technical School. He served in the Navy for 2 years active duty and 3 years active reserve. He worked at Evonik for 34 years in the I&E Maintenance Department and retired in November 2013.

Patty is the supervisor of the housekeeping team and has been employed at Woodridge for 16 years. She is a native of Monticello, Missouri, and moved south to teach at Greystone Christian School where she met her husband Ricky. They have been married for 42 years and have 6 grown children and 8 grandchildren. Patty & Ricky homeschooled their children from 1989-2015.

Tracy has been a part of the housekeeping team for 15 years. She is a native of Mobile and is married with three grown sons. Tracy is also a vital part of our preschool & children’s ministry as she teaches and cares for young ones at every church service or event.

Rhea joined the Woodridge housekeeping team in December of 2023. She is a native of Mobile, Alabama. She has been a member of Woodridge since September of 2022. 

Marsha and her husband, Roy, and have been married for 56 years and have three children: Mary, Nancy and John. In addition, they have 5 grandchildren. Marsha was employed by the USA Health Care Systems for 35 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Of those years, 25 were served as the unit’s educator. She joined Woodridge Baptist Church in 1994.  She started working on the grounds and teaching Sunday School for 3^rd grade in 1995. She served as director of Children’s Sunday School until she retired in 2020. Retirement allowed her to continue to teach, which was very important to her. 

Since her parents were farmers, she learned early on how to grow plants.  This experience helped Marsha realize that she would need help with the 20 acres this church sits on.  She became a Master Gardener in 2005 which educated her beyond her farming knowledge growing up and personal yardwork. 

Rose is a native of Mundelein, IL. She and her husband, Jim, have two daughters and two granddaughters. For over twenty years, Rose has been busy loving on all of our babies every time the church doors are open!
